Group A School-Sponsored Activities |
Organizations that exist solely due to the operation of Buckeye Local Schools. These groups are entirely school-based and are not subject to rental fees.
Examples include:
- Buckeye athletic teams, clubs, and student organizations
- District-sponsored camps (e.g., Safety Town, youth athletic clinics)
- School-approved booster groups and affiliated fundraisers
- Co-curricular programs such as marching band, choir, and drama

Group B – Local Non-Profit Youth or Civic Organizations |
To qualify as Group B, organizations must:
- Be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit (proof required)
- Be located within the Buckeye Local School District or
Serve 100% Buckeye Local Schools students/residents
The district may request participant address lists to verify residency or school enrollment.
Examples include:
- Buckeye-area youth sports leagues
- Local Scouts organizations
- Medina County civic nonprofits
- Government/public town halls (non-fundraising)

Group C – Community-Based or Mixed-Participation Organizations |
Includes groups that serve Buckeye residents but don’t fully meet Group B criteria.
Examples include:
- Local adult leagues, recreational or civic clubs
- Church groups, neighborhood associations
- Youth activities not made up of 100% Buckeye students/residents
- Public events, mixed-participant sports camps or clinics

Group D – Outside or For-Profit Organizations |
Includes any organization not meeting Group A, B, or C criteria, or operating for profit.
Examples include:
- Private training businesses or individuals offering lessons
- Commercial events, camps, or tournaments
- Non-local organizations not based in Buckeye district.
***Any group charging admission, collecting participant fees, or offering private instruction while using Buckeye facilities will be charged at Group D rates, regardless of nonprofit status. |
